To learn to plan and carry out different forest inventories. To construct and analyze different tree and stand level models applied in different inventories. |
Content |
Basics of inventory methods, inventory by compartments, diameter distribution models, height, volume and taper curve models, growth models, national forest inventory, sampling theory, global forest inventories, plantation inventories, systems of equations, site index models, spatial pattern, inventory of sparse populations, process models. |
