Learning outcomes |
Upon a successful completion of this course, students have a deep understanding of contemporary forest management in different regions of Europe. In addition, they are aware of the influence of historical, cultural, and geographical factors in European forestry.

Content |
An intensive field course where the students will familiarize themselves with topical forestry issues in European countries (Austria, France, Germany, Romania and Spain). |
Modes of study |
Intensive field course including forest and cultural visits, lectures, seminars, and presentations. The students are required to carry out group work, discuss given topics, and prepare individual reports. |
