Learning outcomes 

The student will understand the possibilities and restrictions of different remote sensing techniques and their applications in forest inventory.

 
Content 

Application of laser scanning and satellite images in forest inventory, physically based remote sensing, photogrammetry, and radars.

Forest mensuration (3511007), Introduction to remote sensing (3512006), Geographical information systems/gApplied Geoinformatics 1  (3510005), R language (3622223) or comparable knowledge. Basic understanding of multivariate regression analysis.
