Learning outcomes 

Student will learn the ability to apply/implement concepts and principles to the industrial problem study cases. Also student will learn ability to self- and group learn problem solving and to suggest/find solutions to solve given problems.


Topic is given to students and they implement group work. At the end of the course, evalution of the project work is done. Students will participate supervised sessions and check points of the project will be organized by the course instructor. The progress of each student will be checked and group must also report the sharing of the tasks inside the group.

Modes of study 

Project work, reporting and final presentation. Introduction lectures 3h, intermediate presentation 3h, final presentations 3h, independent and group study 126h.

Evaluation criteria 

At the end of the project work, each group will submit the written project report. It must consist of chapters: Introduction, Methods, Experiments, Results, Discussion, and References. In addition, the software must be returned in digital form, to be tested by the evaluation board. Groups will present their project work and results as oral presentation. The grading of the project contest is the weighted grading as follows: grading of the report 25 %, solution of the project task 40 %, final presentation 25 %, reflective diary 10 %. Each element should be finished at least by the grade “passed”. Final grade 0-5.


Amount of passed courses in computer science much be comparable to the Bachelor degree.


In 3rd and 4th period. The first meeting and presentation of the topics in January. After that regular group meetings. The final presentations in May.
